funny dream

So I had a dream that there was a world crisis. But luckily for us Oprah had gotten an interview with a God. Unfortunately with her one request she asked that he fix the problem of women wearing the wrong bra sizes.

And now back to the weather.

St. Patty's Day

So it's St. Patrick's Day, and so far I've celebrated it by studying for most of the day, interspersed with doing laundry and some few moments playing King's Quest 3. Needless to say, I'm bored, lonely, and find myself quite boring and pathetic at the moment. I mean, really, even the nerds who run websites I visit to amuse myself aren't even home updating them with funny/cool stuff. It'd be fine just sitting around hanging out if Shelby were here, or hell, even some of Mike's frat buddies, but no, Shelby's on her way to Denton with her parents, and everyone else is at Bennigan's drinking green beer. And besides, the last like 5 posts on my friend's list are all from Chelsea, most of them one-liners. If this sounds depressing it wasn't really meant to be, I don't feel depressed, just dismally bored.

Dimes on my desk

Well I'm over my fever and my throat is feeling a lot better, a special thanks to Shelby for that :). On the other hand, right now one of my wisdom teeth is coming up so my jaw hurts, it seems I just go for a long time without any problems and then they all swoop down on me at one time. Here's a must see for everyone, just click the first link in the block at the bottom of the page: http://gr.bolt.com/download/goodies/yatta.htm

Sometimes I really suck

I'm already stressed out, which sucks for this being the start of the second week of school for me. I've been stressing over just the usual issues of getting settled into new classes, and I had a research paper already that was due yesterday and I thankfully got finished in time even though I've been sick and feeling just a turd shy of shit, but even with that Shelby has been absolutely great babying me (hehe), so last night I left her dorm feeling sleepy and feverish, but otherwise good since I had cleared my research paper out of the way. I figured I didn't really need to be driving fast so I just locked the cruise control at 60. So then there was a semi driving just a little bit slower than me, and I didn't want to stay in his blindspot so I sped up, then after I got up to speed I figured I would just stay there because I was sleepy and wanted to get home sooner. So of course I go over a hill and there's a cop. Fuck. I ended up getting two citations, one for going 80 in a 60, one because my insurance expired last week and I forgot to put the new card in my wallet. I hate asshole cops. And I hate telling my parents I screwed up.

"Dennis, stop menstruating, you'll attract the bears!"

Ok, so sort of as an update to my update, I must say that I have been well corrected that Shelby is not my only reader, for one thing Corina posted a comment, and Chelsea reminded me that anyone who is my friend on here can just click "friends' journals" and read my entries, so the only reason no one reads my journal is because I don't write in it. But I don't ever have anything worth writing about, and if I do I'm generally much too lazy to do it. I have a fever, so I might end up writing something really stupid or goofy in my paper for tomorrow. Speakin' o' which, I'd better continue to work on that, I'll *try* to update more often on here, probably not MySpace though, because I checked my list of readers and Shelby IS the only one on there.

I suck

My journal is so incredibly boring and empty, I still haven't gotten into this "update" thing, but I put something up on MySpace the other day, so even though Shelby's like my only reader (ok, ok, she's my only reader on MySpace too) I thought I'd update this one too. So I started school Monday with History, Western Lit, Geology, and Film, but yesterday I dropped Film and got into Art History, because the Film was a night class that I didn't feel like taking anymore, and she was going to make us rent movies every week, and I like eating personally. So right now I'm wasting time online before my history class, then afterwards I will invariably continue working on my research paper for Lit. Wow, I was just reading what I typed, and Shelby's the only one who would care about my schedule and she already knows it! I'm such a fuckwit. Ok, so if I don't talk about classes what should I talk about? Umm...I talked to my parents last night...oh fuck me, I'm going to stop.
